Meet The New Face of Display Ads

As part of their commitment to creating engaging brand experiences, media company, Naritive, has developed a unique and effective approach to programmatic and display ad solutions. Our team conducted usability testing and designed the London-based agency’s latest MarTech platform, known as the Naritive Platform.

Challenge

With the knowledge that our brains are wired to enjoy social media content more than ad content, Naritive wanted marketers to be able to easily and efficiently turn their best performing social media posts into ad campaigns that run across the web. This approach aims to bridge the creative divide between social and programmatic marketing, offering agencies the chance to amplify their most engaging social content without briefing separate sets of ads to design teams, which may not perform as effectively.

Access to analytics is essential for marketers as they optimize campaigns in real-time and deliver performance reports to clients. Our biggest challenge in designing the Naritive platform was understanding and consolidating the metrics that are most important to marketers. The native analytics available for each social media platform offer different metrics based on platform capabilities. To ensure that marketers would adopt Naritive as their primary ad management tool, we needed to offer customisable dashboards.

We created a organisation structure for social campaigns to easily manage and organise content under campaigns.

Solution

Naritive aims to optimise agency resources, repurposing best performing assets and giving creative teams more time to conceptualise new ideas. The platform needed to be quick and easy to adopt so agencies would see a fast return on investment.

For an intuitive experience, our design team leveraged Material Design, Google’s open source design system. This approach eliminates user friction, making it easy for people to pick up on how the system works and start creating campaigns quickly.

Considering that new metrics and new social platforms are likely to appear in the years to come, the Material Design system makes it easy to create updates and add on new capabilities or tools.

The design prototype was tested with people from different areas of the digital marketing world. Their feedback on navigating the platform, the ease of creating campaigns, ad sets and reports, and the clarity of the language used, influenced the way Naritive works today.
